  Longbeck Nursery has gone from strength to strength since it opened. The range of roses is modest but there is plenty of choice of everything else. Without exception, the staff are friendly and helpful. The recently opened Tea Room is proving popular with visitors too.

  Excellent garden centre with range of plants, compost, gravel etc, knowledgeable staff, and the best cafe locally for freshly prepared food and friendly service.

  My review is mainly of star buds but i will include the garden centre.
  My partner and i arrived at starbuds by chance after a poor meal at a prveious haunt. We had been on maske beach and needed a cuppa and saw the sign for starbuds. What a pleasent find. Menu was fresh for a little cafe and unexpected for a portacabin type building. Inside the tables are clean only small but big enough. The service and staffing is fantastic friendly counter staff friendly and polite table waitresses and home cooked food.
  Im abit of a tradotional food eater for breakfast if eating out but salmon bagel with cream cheese i spied at another customers table looked lovely and so it has become my regular meal if walking the dog in the area. Lunch is different as their home cooked food is wonderful. Coffee must be one of the best ive had out and scones all home cooked.
  Everytime me and the wife go in its like going home staff always recognise you have a chat which doesnt slow the service as plenty of staff to go around.
  Moving on the the plants they are healthy average prices but do often have special buys including dry goods and bulbs. They have a wide range of garden bird products along with ample parking the centre have friendly and personal service through out.
  Many of the larger garden centres could learn a thing or to from this family run centre.
